About: The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center is pleased to present a webinar on how to manage data disputes. Our panel will provide perspectives from an in-house data specialist and external lawyers with James Tumbridge (Venner Shipley, UK), Flip Petillion (Petillion, Belgium), and Nicholas Oldham (Equifax, USA) discussing their experiences of the unique challenges that arise when processing data on a cross-border basis. The panel will discuss how ADR can be effectively used when managing data disputes and what ADR options are available. The webinar will also include a discussion of the impact of the GDPR and the recent Schrems II decision on business relationships and cross-border data flows.
